Motivation!

The Friendly Atheist challenged his readers to create a motivational poster for atheists from the site AutoMotivemaker. Here are my two entries.

We all know how atheists love succulent babies. Having a daughter has made me love them even more. And let's face it, life is all about her right now so she should be in her first motivational poster.

Yummy baby. ;)

Just wanted to thank you for the belly-laugh from your comment on John R's possum-hating blog.

Hey - as for the theme of your blog, do you really struggle with how you will raise your baby in relation to your athiest beliefs? I wonder sometimes because I would say I'm an athiest now but I was raised catholic, and I can't separate my moral/ethical development from my catholic education. I wonder if I will figure out how to instill values in my daughter without teaching her there is a "god" watching her every wicked move. Any thoughts?

I don't know... that first one sounds like a motivational poster for panentheists, to me...

Sarah, good question. I'll touch on that more when I get a little time.

Paul, maybe but when you define god in that way I think it takes away all meaning of there "being" a god.

Hi Happynat,

Nice blog. It's really nice to see other logical, atheist parents in Ohio. I've seen your posts on possummomma's blog and I think at PBB.
Congrats on the new baby!!

Interesting Blog, mine are a lot in different content, but interesting concept for a Blog. Will a Logical Spiritualist post on an Atheist Blog, looks like the answer to that question is yes. I know that anyone reading this, that is an Atheist, is saying being a Logical Spiritualist is being an Atheist. I do not view that as such. I am not challenging your belief of not believing in a God(s), all I ask is you do the same.
